Day 1 Casablanca

Your Morocco tour will begin in Casablanca, the economic capital and the place where most tours to Morocco begin. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred by shuttle bus to your Casablanca hotel, where you will check in and relax for the afternoon. There will be orientation and then time to see some of the city, perhaps including a visit to the Hassan II, one of the world's biggest mosques which is a top destination spot for most Morocco tours. Dinner will be served in the hotel.

Day 2 Casablanca & Rabat

After breakfast and at your convenience, you will travel on towards Rabat, the capital city and residence of the King. You will have a tour of this historic city including the Chellah, La Tour Hassan, Mausoleum, and King's Palace. Dinner will be served in the riad.

Day 3 Rabat, Volubilis & Meknes

After breakfast, you will leave by van towards Fes. In the morning you can explore the 2000-year-old ruins of Volubilis and get a picture of life during the Roman Empire. From there you will travel to Meknes and have a tour of this Imperial City. You will visit the famous Bab Mansour, Granaries and stables of Moulay Ismael. In the evening, you will finish the drive to Fes. Dinner will be served in your Fes Riad. This will be your first taste at life in a riad and your introduction to riads in general. This Fes tour will leave you feeling full of the culture and lifestyle seeing one of the fully functioning medieval cities in the world.

Day 4 Fes

After breakfast you will begin your guided tour of the ancient Fes Medina, one of the world's largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco.  You will visit the King's Palace, the tanneries, and the pottery, and a few other places of interest.  For lunch you will eat in a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch you will complete the tour and return to your traditional riad for the evening. Dinner will be served in a local Fes restaurant.

Day 5 Fes free day

This will be a free day to explore Fes. Dinner will be in your riad in Fes.

Day 6 Marrakech (full day drive)

After an early breakfast, the group will depart for Marrakech. The beautiful drive will take you up into the Middle Atlas Mountains and along the base of the High Atlas Mountains.
Once in Marrakech, you will check into your hotel and then head off to the Djemaa el-Fna, the center square of the medina. The famous Djemaa el-Fna, is one of the center attractions of Marrakech. Coming alive at night with the local storytellers, entertainers, and mouth-watering barbeque pits, the square is well worth a visit. A quiet cup of tea on the terrace of an adjacent café provides a spectacular aerial view of the bustling square. A delicious, traditional dinner will be served in your riad in Marrakech.

Day 7 Marrakech

After breakfast, the group will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Palace of the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, you will continue on your journey to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and another visit to the famous Djemaa el-Fna Square.  The tour will conclude with an exploration of the souk (market) lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. Dinner will be served in a local restaurant.

Day 8 Marrakech (free day)

This day will be a free day in Marrakech to explore the city. Dinner will be served in your Marrakech riad.

Day 9 Marrakech & Essaouira

After breakfast, you will set off to experience an Essaouira holiday in this coastal city - a picturesque fishing town, lying on the southwest coast of Morocco. With an exquisite beach to the south, Essaouira has become one of Morocco's most popular coastal towns. Many of the countries wood carvers and artists make Essaouira their home. Lunch will not be served in an Essaouira hotel, but in a restaurant in the ancient medina which is riad Essaouira headquarters. Essaouira riads are known to be beautiful, unique, and reflecting the glamour of the city itself. Staying in one of the riads in Essaouira will imprint a lasting memory of this unique city.

Day 10 Essaouira & Casablanca

The last day of your Morocco tour will take you back to Casablanca. You will leave Essaouira for Casablanca with a stop in the picturesque city of Oualidia. We drive along the beautiful Atlantic coastline to El Jadida where we visit the citadel and see the underground cistern. We then continue on to Casablanca, where we spend our last night in the country.

Day 11 Casablanca

After breakfast, your Morocco tour will conclude with your heart full of lifetime memories from this land of wonder. You will be transferred to the airport for departure.
