Once a family home, this Riad situated close to one of the gates to the medina has to be one of the most elegant and sophisticated Riads in Fez .
Set around a beautiful courtyard , complete with open fire and small fountain the white carved alabaster walls, and wood work are a joy to look upon.
Each named bedroom has a separate identity and feel. They are all well appointed, hot water and appropriate climate control available constantly.
The service from the family members and others who comprise the staff is excellent. Nothing is a problem. From the time of the welcome tea/coffee and biscuits to departure the staff cannot do enough to make your visit comfortable.
Clean, sophisticated and elegant - a great place to stay in Fez.
Oldways, a US-based nonprofit education organization, brought a group of 32 Americans to Morocco for a culinary tour. Most of us were fortunate enough to stay at Riad Dar Dmana. We enjoyed incredibly wonderful and kind service (Rachid did everything possible to make our stay wonderful), fabulous meals (Hayat is a very talented cook), and beautiful rooms and surroundings. We will return again, without question. We recommend Riad Dar Dmana very highly.

I've eaten at most restaurants and street stalls in and around the
medina as well as in the New Town. For my money try and book a meal at
riad Dar Dmana in the Batha area on the edge of the medina. Hiatt, the
chef, fixes everything well. You won't regret it.
