Le riad l'étoile du sud a appartenu à une famille de Marrakech désireuse de vivre dans la nouvelle ville (Gueliz) la condition de la vente étant de préserver son cadre et son authenticité.Il a été restauré harmonieusement par des artisans amoureux de cette maison et du travail bien fait il s'est enrichi de l'art andalou pour devenir une véritable maison d'hôtes que nous vous invitons à découvrir aujourd'hui.

Delightful stay

As soon as the door was opened to the riad, we felt as though we had stepped into an exotic land, complete with lanterns, draping fabric, mosaic tile and fresh flowers. We were escorted to the courtyard and served delightful Moroccan hot mint tea and pastries, complete with descriptions by our host Mohammed. We were then escorted to our room and made to feel very welcome. The rooms and private bathroom were clean and comfortable.
We especially enjoyed the breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Again, Mohammed was a wonderful host and the breakfast was delicious.
The riad is located within easy walking of the Jemaa el Fna.

Our host warmly welcomed us by serving us tea in a lovely alcove overlooking the courtyard which was filled with beautiful plants and Moroccan decor. The guest rooms were charming, very clean and comfortable for two people. We enjoyed being served breakfast in the rooftop dining area. We were made to feel welcome and at home in this lovely riad throughout our stay.

This riad was a great experience. This was the second time that we stayed here (that should say something)! Mohammed was very helpful and always available to assist us. The rooms were quaint and the service was great.
The only complaint is that the baby cot that they offered us was too short and our son climbed out of it multiple times.
All in all, a wonderful experience, just bring your own baby cot.
